Low Setting

The information below aims to help parents of teens 15 to 18 years of age. This security setting should have almost no limitations on content, Web sites or activities. Teens are more savvy about their Internet experience, however, they still need parents to define appropriate safety guidelines. Parents should be available to help their teens understand inappropriate messages and avoid unsafe situations. Teens may still need a reminder regarding what personal information should not be given over the Internet.

The links below can help you understand what types of materials are appropriate for this age group and offer steps you can take to help keep kids safe while online.
